History Factory

History Factory, an agency that helps companies leverage their history and heritage to transform their brand positioning, marketing and communications, has launched the COVID-19 Corporate Memory Project. The project is a free archival resource that spotlights corporate responses to the crisis as well as offering guidance on how to prepare for and respond effectively to the next crisis. It combines crowdsourced content from corporate contributors with publicly available media coverage, press releases, social media posts and statements, documents, photography, video and a range of other digital materials related to the pandemic’s impact on the business world. Companies featured include Airbnb, Kimberly-Clark, Marriott, Southwest Airlines, Starbucks, Uber and The Walt Disney Company. Those wishing to contribute content for the project can click here.

Boden

Boden has become the first independent PR agency to join the Association of National Advertisers’ Alliance for Inclusive and Multicultural Marketing, an industry-wide alliance representing advertisers, media, research companies, trade organizations, and agencies across Hispanic, African-American, Asian-American, LGBTQ, People with Disabilities and non-multicultural segments. “Adding Boden’s independent multicultural PR discipline within our Communications Track is a natural fit that amplifies our work,” said AIMM co-founder Gilberto Dávila. The agency will work with AIMM’s leadership as it expands its Cultural Insights Impact Measure to include public relations. CIIM is a metric that identifies the impact and effectiveness of cultural insights in ads and programming and how these have the potential to impact sales.

KCD

KCD PR, which works with clients in the financial services, technology and transportation industries, has won the Silver Stevie Award in the Communications PR Campaign of the Year category. KCD PR was also recently awarded the Hermes Creative Platinum Award for its media relations campaign for an artificial intelligence and robotics PR client.
