Financial services giant TIAA has named Martha "Marty" Willis chief marketing officer, where she will oversee brand and corporate communications. She reports to CEO Roger Ferguson.
Willis, who has more than 30 years of experience in marketing, product development and business strategy, was handling CMO duties at Nuveen, which TIAA acquired in 2014 for $6.2B. She was responsible for client/product marketing, corporate/investment communications and digital brand strategies.
Willis also did stints at OppenheimerFunds, Fidelity Investments and MFS.
TIAA has $1.1T assets under management.
