5W Public Relations has been appointed agency of record for foodservice industry platform, Dragontail. 5WPR will work with Dragtontail to raise awareness for the platform through earned media, thought leadership, speaking opportunities and award submissions. Dragontail has developed a patent-pending optimization algorithm, known as the Algo, which optimizes the food delivery process from preparation to delivery. The company says this results in improved restaurant operations, reduced labor costs, enhanced customer service and better food quality, as well as allowing management to view reporting and metrics. Dragontail Systems products are installed in approximately 2,500 stores in Canada, Australia, Asia and Europe, and are now being introduced in the US.
Manifest New York has been selected as agency of record for ecoATM Gazelle, a company that allows consumers to receive payment for phones, smartphones and tablets at one of over 4,400 ecoATM kiosks across the U.S. or online through Gazelle.com. Manifest will be responsible for running ecoATM Gazelle’s press office, overseeing thought leadership for its senior executive team as well as conceptualizing and implementing creative campaigns within North America. Manifest and ecoATM’s first collaboration was A Good Call, a pop-up that invited New Yorkers to bring in old smartphones which would go directly to girls in underserved communities around the world and provide them with the technology to access a “digital classroom.” Since launching in 2008, ecoATM Gazelle has upcycled more than 25 million phones and tablets.
iMARS Communications has been selected to create a communication strategy and provide comprehensive media relations and PR services for Promsvyazbank, one of the ten largest Russian banks. iMARS will provide information support for the company’s activities, including planning, initiating publications and processing incoming requests from the media. Promsvyazbank says its services are used by 2.5 million individuals and over 200,000 legal entities, including more than 10,000 corporate clients. Headquartered in Moscow, iMARS also has a subsidiary in Beijing, and a network of international partners.
