Hager Sharp has brought on Crystal Brown to lead its education, labor, and economy practice.
Brown joins Hager Sharp from Howard University, where she was VP and chief communications officer. As a member of the president’s executive cabinet, she oversaw the university’s strategic communications, marketing and branding, PR, executive communications, web and digital strategies, crisis communications, publications and internal communications.
Before Howard, she was chief communications officer at the University of Maryland.
Earlier in her career, Brown served as a senior VP at Widmeyer Communications and senior vice president, marketing communications at e-Luminate Group.
