Fandom, which offers a variety of curated fan communities focused mainly on pop culture topics, has named Anthony Iaffaldano vice president of sales, marketing and insights. Iaffaldano comes to Fandom from Insider Inc. where he was vice president, corporate marketing, helping Business Insider expand into new content verticals. Before that, he served as vice president, marketing at Undertone and vice president, product & digital marketing at Piksel Inc. In his new role, Iaffaldano will leverage a suite of new products and measurement solutions to strengthen the platform’s relationship with advertisers. “Anthony will articulate and champion a clear and compelling marketing narrative for Fandom and help clients create meaningful connections with our communities through a suite of fan-first cross-platform programs and solutions,” said Fandom chief marketing officer Stephanie Fried.

SparkPost, an email delivery and analytics engine, has hired Natalia Dykyj as vice president and head of marketing. Dykyj was most recently vice president of brand management at Web.com Group. She previously served as vice president of product at Cision, where she was responsible for the strategy, delivery and launch of their global Communications Cloud platform. At SparkPost, Dykyj leads all facets of the company’s marketing organization, working with senior leadership on corporate vision and strategy. "Natalia brings a wealth of knowledge in marketing and product positioning, and has demonstrated true creativity and entrepreneurial thinking," said SparkPost CEO Rich Harris.
