SourceCode Communications has hired Kristen Stippich as senior vice president, a newly created position in which she will lead the agency’s New York office. Kristen comes to SourceCode from Technovation, a global tech education nonprofit aimed at inspiring girls and families to be leaders and problem solvers, where she was senior director, leading brand, marketing, and communications. She previously served as senior vice president at Airfoil Group and vice president at Weber Shandwick. At SourceCode, Stippich will oversee and create integrated communications programs for early-stage and established B2B and consumer brands across the agency's existing portfolio. “Kristen will significantly strengthen our senior team, adding a wealth of commercial acumen, client service excellence, and depth of sector expertise,” said SourceCode Communications managing partner Rebecca Honeyman.

Shirley & McVicker Public Affairs has brought on Will Hadden as account executive and has promoted Francesca Georg to account supervisor. Hadden, who previously held positions with the Republican National Committee and National Republican Congressional Committee, handles client relations, tactical and strategic media plans, client coaching, writing and reporter relations for client interviews. Georg joined Shirley & McVicker in 2019 as account executive, and has managed grassroots campaigns in the renewable energy sector, as well as organizing policy conferences, and handling promotional efforts for books. In her new post, she handles media outreach, managing and supervising account executives, and directs new business marketing in addition to her other duties.

Luna Innovations Incorporated, which produces advanced fiber optic-based technology, has named Jane Bailey vice president, marketing & communications, effective Aug. 3. Bailey comes to Luna from GE Digital, where she was most recently vice president, marketing, with responsibility for all global product marketing and customer advocacy functions for the organization’s software portfolio. As a member of Luna’s executive team, she will report to president and CEO Scott A. Graeff. “We are very pleased that Jane Bailey, a corporate executive with deep experience in corporate communications, product marketing, sales support and customer advocacy, is joining our executive team,” said Graeff.
