Inkhouse is holding its second “Meet the Press” virtual event on Aug. 25. “The State of the Media in Summer 2020: Racial Equality, the Economy & the Election” will feature a panel of reporters from the Boston business and political press. The panel will discuss how their individual reporting has been impacted by recent events, and how PR professionals can adjust how they work with the press. The Institute for Public Relations is hosting the first of three virtual conferences on the Future of Comms on Sept. 3 from 12 pm to 4 pm. The program will include a series of 30- to 45-minute sessions addressing such topics as leading with a values-based strategy, PR diversity, the importance of collaboration in communications, and social and digital strategies. Attendees will receive a playback version of the presentation 48 hours after the event, as well as the PowerPoint and other additional materials from the presentation.
