GCI Health has hired Kristin Mengel Ryan as senior vice president, North America digital lead; Jennifer Semetulskis as senior vice president, wellness & nutrition; and Bailey Roy as vice president, head of analytics. Ryan joins GCI Health in New York from IPG-PR, a Weber Shandwick offering, where she was a senior vice president, helping brands leverage data and emerging technologies. She will lead the U.S. team of digital strategists to drive innovation in the communications ecosystem. Semetulskis comes on board from Edelman, whereas a senior vp she led integrated campaigns across a range of therapeutic areas, working with such clients as Merck, Sprout Pharmaceuticals and the University of Michigan. Based in Chicago, she will report to executive vp Kirsten Whipple. Roy was previously director of analytics at Ketchum’s Boston office. She specializes in digital analytics research and measurement.

Amerant Bancorp has brought on Adrian Collard as senior vice president and chief marketing officer. Collard joins Amerant from Mastercard, where he served as vice president and interim CMO for Latin America and the Caribbean. He was previously head of global brand strategy & marketing at PayPal, and worked at Young & Rubicam as associate partner and account managing director. In his hew post, Collard will be responsible for all facets of Amerant’s marketing strategy, integrating brand-building initiatives, digital marketing, media, and data & analytics. “His extensive background and track record for elevating brands while driving business growth will be instrumental to the implementation of our strategic plan,” said Amerant vice chairman and CEO Millar Wilson.

OpSec Security, which provides physical and digital anti-counterfeiting and brand protection solutions, has named Bill Taylor chief marketing officer. Taylor founded Downing Goliath, a marketing and sales strategy consulting practice. He also served as co-founder and chief marketing officer at Gordian Knot Analytics Group, and has held executive positions at Panasonic, Motorola, Philips Consumer Electronics and Eastman Kodak. “Bill’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge has already made him a key addition to the OpSec Security team,” said CEO Selva Selvaratnam.
