Yashica Olden, WPP’s executive director of diversity & inclusion for the past five months, is joining Condé Nast on Oct. 26.
She’ll be the publishing company’s first-ever global chief diversity & inclusion officer, responsible for its global brands and divisions.
Olden will report to Stan Duncan, chief people officer, who said “as content creators it’s incredibly important that we have a team that has a broad range of perspectives and voices.”
Olden was in charge of D&I at Ogilvy before moving up to parent company, WPP.
During her more than 20-year career, Olden held D&I posts at the World Food Programme, Sandoz, Barclays Capital and Credit Suisse.
“Yashica brings a wealth of experience in helping elevate diversity and inclusion strategies in large companies like ours and I’m looking forward to her insight and counsel in helping move our workplace culture forward," added Duncan.
