Brunswick Group has appointed Philip Delves Broughton to the newly created position of group head of content. Broughton, who joined the firm as a senior adviser in February, will now also serve as a partner in New York. He previously worked as a journalist, author and advisor to senior business leaders, including as a managing director and senior advisor on media and communications to the executive chairman of Banco Santander. At Brunswick, Broughton will work with the firm’s flagship publications, the Brunswick Review and Social Value Review. He will also counsel clients on a range of internal and external communications matters. “Philip will ensure the firm’s content is of ever higher quality and relevance to our clients and the critical issues they face. He will also add outstanding client advisory capabilities to our New York office,” said Brunswick Group CEO Neal Wolin.

Code for America, a non-partisan, non-political 501 organization that works to address the widening gap between the public and private sectors in their effective use of technology and design, has named Arlene Corbin Lewis chief communications and marketing officer, effective Oct. 28. Corbin Lewis comes to the organization from public policy think tank Demos, where she served as director of communications. Her previous positions include vice president of communications at the Case Foundation and director of strategic communications at The Urban Institute. At Code for America, she will lead all of the organization’s communications, marketing and public affairs initiatives. "Arlene will drive strategic campaigns and initiatives to create a more equitable and resilient government. We have a unique chance to shape government systems to truly serve everyone with dignity and respect," said Code for America CEO Amanda Renteria.
Truist Financial Corporation has hired Vinoo Vijay has been hired as the company's chief marketing officer. Vijay comes to Truist from H&R Block, where he also served as chief marketing officer. Before he held exective marketing positions at TD Bank and Ally Financial Servuces. In his new post, Vijay will oversee all of Truist’s marketing, including brand strategy, business marketing, multicultural marketing, sports and entertainment marketing, digital marketing, direct and regional marketing, as well as social, creative and advertising. "Vinoo will play a critical role in shaping the Truist brand strategy and delivering on our purpose to inspire and build better lives and communities," said Wilson. "I'm excited to have such a well-respected and talented marketing leader on our team as we redefine the client experience and create the future of finance," said Truist chief digital and client experience officer Dontá Wilson.
