GCI Health has named Dawn Christian senior vice president of inclusion and diversity. Christian comes to the agency from AstraZeneca, whereas associate director of learning strategy, she championed global inclusion & diversity efforts. She has also served as product marketing manager at Astellas Pharma and marketing manager at Amgen. At GCI Health, Christian will be the primary subject matter expert and architect of the agency’s inclusion and diversity strategy, as well as providing guidance, direction and oversight on all internal and external communications related to that strategy’s goals. “I believe Dawn’s leadership and vision will be valuable in building a truly representative workplace that reflects the broader cultural shifts happening globally and in the communities where we operate,” said GCI Health CEO Wendy Lund.

Sinclair Broadcast Group has hired John Zeigler as chief marketing officer, a newly created role. Zeigler was previously vice president marketing and creative for the YES Network, where he established YES Creative Group, an in-house creative and marketing agency that oversaw on-air branding, digital marketing and strategic initiatives. He has also served as vice president of creative services and digital media at Z Living Network and vice president, creative content at WGN America. At Sinclair Zeigler will initially focus on developing and executing brand marketing strategy for Sinclair’s affiliate stations and 21 Regional Sports Networks. He will also assume responsibility for Sinclair's promotions, creative services and marketing departments. “John has consistently developed strategic marketing campaigns that led to incredible brand growth across multiple networks," said Sinclair President and CRO Rob Weisbord.

Caliburn International, which provides professional services and solutions to U.S. federal government agencies and commercial clients, has brought on Beth Jannery as senior vice president, marketing and communications. Jannery comes to the company from Raytheon, where she served on the global strategic marketing & communications team for Raytheon Missiles & Defense and was a member of its branding and storytelling team. She was previously director of journalism for George Mason University’s department of communications. At Caliburn, Jannery will oversee the firm’s communications and branding strategy and the integration and implementation of public relations and marketing activities. “Beth’s strategic leadership in shaping a communications vision for how we impact the lives of our stakeholders—including our clients, team members and the global community that we serve—is a critical component of our executive leadership team,” said Caliburn International CEO Jim Van Dusen.
