Devika Bulchandani, who has been McCann North America president since 2014, is heading to Ogilvy, where she will be CEO of Ogilvy North America and global chairwoman of advertising.
She will be responsible for driving all of Ogilvy’s core business across the US and Canada, which spans advertising, brand & content, public relations & influence, experience, growth & innovation and health, as well as supporting the firm’s global advertising business.
Bulchandani also co-founded and served as president of McCann XBC, the agency’s Mastercard-dedicated unit. She joined the Interpublic company in 1997 as chief strategy officer.
A founding member of Times Up Advertising, Bulchandani has worked to promote equality for women in advertising, particularly for women of color.
