Edelman US chief operating officer Lisa Osborne Ross and media strategist, journalist and author Gemma Puglisi will be inducted into the National Capital Public Relations Hall of Fame at the 2020 PRSA National Chapter Excellence in Communication Awards on Dec. 2.
The virtual event, which recognizes outstanding achievement in external communications and public relations in the Washington, DC area, will hand out awards in categories that include the best PR campaigns and top accomplishments in PR tactics. The Public Relations, Measurement and Evaluation Award, which is judged by the Institute for Public Relations, will also be presented.
TV and podcast host Sarah Fraser headlines the free 5 p.m. event, which is open to the public. In addition, a virtual concert after party (featuring singer/songwriter Brian Johnson) will immediately follow the awards ceremony.
