Avisa

Avisa Partners has launched an international disputes practice, which will support clients facing entrenched cross-border commercial, legal and regulatory challenges. The new practice incorporates many of the firm’s consulting services verticals, including risk management, public affairs, global strategic communications, international affairs, digital advocacy, cybersecurity and anti-counterfeiting operations. "Our solutions are focused on supporting clear commercial and policy outcomes," said Avisa Partners U.S. chief executive officer Eric Bovim. "We recalibrate environments by leveraging broader public policy and commercial narratives in our clients' favor, all while being in lockstep with in-house and outside counsel, as well as third party legal funders."

TASC

The TASC Group funds a $10,000 diversity, equity and inclusion program with The City College of New York. As part of the effort, $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to selected multicultural students in CCNY’s public relations and advertising program. In addition, each award recipient will take part in a paid semester-long internship at The TASC Group that includes professional development and mentoring by TASC employees. The recipients will be selected by The TASC Group in consultation with a designated CCNY public relations and communications faculty member. The award selection will be announced on Jan. 8. “We think CCNY is the perfect place to select gifted PR practitioners with diverse perspectives and give them the financial support and mentorship they need to be successful,” said The TASC Group CEO Lawrence Kopp.
