He joins Lambert from the Washington D.C. office of management consulting firm MorganFranklin, where he most recently served as manager, strategy & transformation. Before that, Ward was manager, corporate strategy & performance management at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. At Lambert, he spearheads the execution of strategic initiatives, works to empower the internal business and finance operation teams, and assists with new business strategy and growth associated with mergers & acquisitions. “Walter will be a key voice and decision maker for our growing cross-functional teams as we evolve beyond our PR and IR roots into a landscape of integrated marketing and capital markets expertise,” said Lambert founder and CEO Jeff Lambert.

Hill+Knowlton Germany names Andreas Kloevekorn head of its technology team. Kloevekorn joins the firm as managing director, reporting directly to H+K Germany CEO Susanne Marell. Kloevekorn joins H+K from Edelman Germany, where he was chief operating officer. In his new post, he will be responsible for advising all companies in the tech sector. He will also work on the development of new H+K offerings as part of his role in the management team, as H+K continues to elevate its digital profile. “Technology is one of the most important sectors and growth drivers at H+K, not just in Germany, but also internationally,” says Marell. “Andreas will further expand our expertise in this sector, working closely with the technology experts in our global network.”

Hamilton Place Strategies brings on Scott Haber as a director. Haber returns to HPS, where he worked from 2014 to 2016, from the Internet Association, where he was most recently communications director. In his first stint at HPS, he was a senior analyst, supporting clients in the healthcare, transportation and trade industries. “Scott's time at Internet Association gives him deep expertise on key issues like net neutrality, intellectual property, and content moderation, and his time as a former senior analyst at HPS means he will be able to deliver immediate impact for our clients,” said HPS partner Matt McDonald. HPS has also promoted Meghan Pennington to managing director, as well as Elliott Owensby and Jesse Steinmetz to senior director.

Steinreich Communications Group appoints David Gill content manager. Gill comes to the agency from home furnishings trade publication HFN, where he served as senior editor. He previously held editorial positions at The Media Center and Positive Publications. In his new role, Gill will be in charge of creating and drafting press releases, as well as providing mentorship to junior staff on writing and strategic trade media placement. “David is a seasoned journalist with a thorough understanding of the issues and trends in the home furnishings business that will be a tremendous asset to our clients and our staff,” said Steinreich Communications Group president and CEO Stan Steinreich.
