Meredith Corporation names Erica Jensen senior VP and chief communications officer, effective January 29. Jensen succeeds Art Slusark, who retired in November. Jensen currently serves as head of executive communications for Principal Financial Group. At Meredith, she will advise chairman and CEO Tom Harty and Meredith's senior leadership team on communications strategies for the organization and oversee all external and internal communications, crisis management, government relations, and environmental, social, and governance activities. "Erica is a highly creative communicator and brings a wealth of experience to this role,” said Harty.

Golin promotes Lindsay Peterson to managing director of Golin Canada. Peterson joined the agency as executive director in 2016 during the launch of its Toronto office. Before that, she was vice president, consumer marketing at Cohn & Wolfe (now BCW). In her new position, Peterson will lead growth efforts across the region, and be tasked with continuing to build the firm’s presence in the market as she grows its existing book of accounts. “Lindsay is an exemplary leader with a proven track record of building trusted client relationships and converting new business,” said president and chief operating officer Gary Rudnick.

Kingsley Napley law firm hires Leor Franks to lead its business development, marketing, communications and knowledge functions. Franks also serves on the firm’s management board. He joins Kingsley Napley from legal services firm Augusta, where he was chief marketing officer. Franks was previously managing director of marketing communications at FTI Consulting and also held marketing and business development positions at Deloitte and EY. At Kingsley Napley, he will work to support the firm’s growth ambitions and help to optimise its strategy in supporting clients through the coronavirus pandemic and Brexit transition. “Leor has a proven track record in shaping and delivering creative, client focused and commercially-driven marketing in professional services,”said Kingsley Napley managing partner Linda Woolley.

She joins Google from ROKK Solutions, where she launched GROKK, a cybersecurity communications program designed to guide organizations through security incidents. Before that, she was cybersecurity communications manager at Raytheon and a senior account executive at InkHouse Media + Marketing.
