Vested names Danny Calogero director in its London office. Calogero joins the agency from Lansons, where he was a board director. He has also served as a director at Peregrine Communications, an associate director at Headland Consultancy and an account director at Prosek Partners. In his new post, Calogero will lead a number of strategic accounts and work to drive further growth. “His experience, drive and enthusiasm to deliver exceptional results and evolve the role of financial services communications makes him a clear fit for our team," said Vested UK chief executive officer Elspeth Rothwell. Calogero’s appointment coincides with Vested’s third anniversary in the UK.

Idea Hall adds Sven Johnston to its executive leadership team as vice president. Johnston comes to Idea Hall from marketing firm Gigasavvy, where he was a founding partner and vice president of business development. At Idea Hall, Johnston will work to cultivate new and existing clients across the firm’s key practice studios: real estate, healthcare, business services, nonprofit, consumer products, hospitality/travel/leisure, education and public agencies. He will also will work alongside the marketing and operations teams to help shape the agency’s regional and national growth strategy. Golin hires Claire Koeneman to lead its North American corporate communications practice. Koeneman was most recently a partner at Bully Pulpit Interactive. She has served as executive vp, corporate communications at Hill + Knowlton and president of MWWPR/Financial Relations Board. Koeneman will provide corporate communications strategy for some of Golin’s enterprise accounts as well as leading new business efforts across the region, contributing to global growth efforts and working in collaboration with Golin Group brands IPG DXTRA and IPG.
