South Korea has signed on Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck for government relations work.
The agreement went into effect Jan 12 with a monthly retainer set at $30K through June 30, at which time both parties will discuss renewing the pact.
Marc Lampkin, Brownstein’s Washington managing partner and a top policy advisor to former House Speaker John Boehner, oversees the nine-member South Korea lobbying team.
That group includes top Democrats such as Mark Begich (Alaska's former US senator and Anchorage mayor), Nadeam Elshami (one-time chief of staff to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi) and Al Mottur (fundraiser for Hillary for America and staffer to ex-South Carolina senator Fritz Hollings).
