Jack in the Box names Ryan Ostrom executive vice president and chief marketing officer, effective Feb. 1. Ostrom comes to Jack in the Box from General Nutrition Centers, where he served as chief brand officer, helping the company modernize its marketing, e-commerce, innovation, and product development. Before that, he was at Yum! Brands as global chief digital officer for its KFC unit, and has also served as chief marketing officer for Sears’ Kenmore, Craftsman and DieHard brands. He succeeds Adrienne Ingoldt, who will become senior vice president, chief customer & strategy officer. “His experience and leadership demonstrate a proven track record of transforming brands through unique campaigns, all while leveraging digital platforms to modernize how consumers engage with brands,” said Jack in the Box CEO Darin Harris.
BlocPal International brings on Sushant Trivedi as chief marketing officer. Trivedi comes to BlocPal after working for more than a decade at Procter & Gamble, most recently as business and commercial strategy leader at P&G Ventures, the company’s studio partnering with startups, entrepreneurs, and inventors. In addition to working to strengthen BlocPal’s existing business strategies, he will help drive the company’s presence and growth as it expands in major markets in the US and around the world. "Not only does Sushant bring a strong marketing background but also a business acumen in revenue maximization, growth strategies and global expansion," said BlocPal CEO Nick Mellios.
Enphase Energy, a global energy management technology company, names Allison Johnson chief marketing officer. Johnson was previously chief marketing officer at PayPal and has served as vice president, worldwide marketing communications at Apple. She was also founder and managing partner at West, a hybrid marketing and venture capital studio. At Enphase, Johnson will be responsible for all global marketing activities, reporting directly to company president and CEO Badri Kothandaraman. “As a recognized marketing leader, Allison’s experience building some of the world’s most valuable brands is key as we look to accelerate our growth and establish Enphase as the recognized leader in the global transition to energy independence,” said Kothandaraman.
