Goodwill Industries International names Onney Crawley chief marketing officer, effective Feb. 16. Crawley comes to Goodwill from Serta Simmons Bedding, where she was most recently vice president of marketing. She has also held executive marketing positions at Sears, Mars and Wrigley. In her new post, Crawley will work with Goodwill’s executive team to bolster the brand as well as attract new and expand existing relationships with Goodwill customers, advocates, funders, job seekers and employers. “Onney has led successful marketing campaigns and driven profitable growth for iconic consumer brands,” said Goodwill president and CEO Steven C. Preston. “Her experience and oversight managing brand re-positioning, consumer segmentation and partner development will help increase brand awareness for Goodwill.”

Carve Communications appoints Scott Goldberg managing director and executive vice president of client services, establishing a presence for the Miami-based agency in Chicago. Goldberg comes to Carve from Southard Communications, where he was a senior vice president. In his new role, Goldberg will be responsible for providing strategic direction for the agency’s client roster, managing and developing the staff as well as advancing the delivery of the firm’s range of services. “What makes Scott special isn’t just his client relations skills or media relationships or his ability to shape young talent, it’s his uncanny way to take learnings from a campaign and apply it to the rest of the agency in a way that benefits all of our client partners,” said Carve founder and CEO David Barkoe.

Stratacomm brings on April Harding as digital director, supporting the agency’s work with the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, World Food Program and Amtrak. Harding joins Stratacomm from medical education platform Wellspring, where she was co-founder and chief technology officer. She was previously a vice president at GMMB. Stratacomm has also hired Gina Grundman, formerly media coordinator at marketing agency Team Velocity, as associate media planner, with responsibility over researching, planning and targeting audiences.
