Marino has added Local Initiatives Support Corporation NYC to its roster of nonprofit and advocacy accounts.
The firm will elevate LISC NYC's role in the city’s recovery from the public health and economic crisis and drive long-term visibility of the group’s efforts to connect low- and moderate-income communities and minority-owned businesses to the capital, resources and services needed to grow.
In addition to leading earned media efforts for LISC NYC, Marino will also be facilitating and growing the group’s digital footprint and social media presence.
In its 40 years of existence, LISC NYC has invested more than $3 billion and leveraged $7.6 billion to preserve more than 42,000 affordable homes.
LISC is the brainchild of the Ford Foundation, which envisioned a nimble nonprofit organization with strong local partnerships to connect public/private resources to underinvested communities.
