Zapwater Communications has been engaged by the Montserrat Tourism Division for media relations activations in North America. The agency will lead Montserrat’s Remote Workers Stamp initiative, which offers year-long visas to remote workers, and will execute other promotional campaigns for the island. The account will be managed out of Zapwater’s Miami office and the scope of work includes virtual events and partnerships. Known as the Emerald Isle of the Caribbean for its resemblance to the coast of Ireland and the Irish ancestry of many of its inhabitants, Montserrat is the only country outside of Ireland to celebrate St Patrick’s Day as a national holiday.


French/​West/​Vaughan is selected by private equity firm Sherpa Collaborative to handle public relations efforts for the organization and multiple associated brands. FWV has already begun work on behalf of the firm, with an initial focus on increasing awareness and driving sales for its consumer-facing brands Lawson Hammock and Andador, a woven belt collection, through a national media relations campaign. Sherpa Collaborative helps launch and grow businesses through investment, acquisition, incubation and consulting. “We have worked with the team at FWV in different capacities over the years, so we know firsthand about their impressive depth of experience across industries that align with our portfolio,” said Sherpa Collaborative founding partner Pete Pagano.


JC Communications is named agency of record for Carne Collective, an Argentinian beef subscription box company. The agency will be executing media relations and influencer outreach for the company. Carne Collective says it is the first company to bring Angus-certified Argentinian beef to the U.S. Its grass-fed meat is raised using what it calls “regenerative farming” and is shipped in carbon neutral-boxes with non-GMO cornstarch lining that dissolves in the sink and recyclable gel cold packs that can be cut open and used as plant food.
