The Institute for Public Relations and the PRSA Educators Academy are presenting “Navigating the Agency,” the latest installment in their Race in the PR Classroom webinar series, on Feb. 18 at 12 p.m. ET. The series looks at the state of PR education, the pervasive issues of race in higher education, how to create systemic change, and creating a more diverse PR faculty and more diverse pipelines of PR practitioners. Untethered

Hubb, an event management company, is hosting a session focused on defining the future of hybrid events. “UNTETHERED: Design-a-thon,” held on March 16 and 17, will address such topics as the future of marketing events, engaging hybrid audiences, safety and wellness, community connections and audience design. Attendees will discuss ideas, practices and challenges about their chosen topic. The ideas generated will be tested and published in a downloadable industry playbook after the event. Hubb will also present a second UNTETHERED event this fall. There is no cost for registration, but attendees can contribute through donations. Proceeds from the event will be donated to The Meetings Industry Fund, a nonprofit dedicated to providing financial assistance for event professionals during times of crisis.
