Blue Sky, an Atlanta-based agency whose services include brand and content strategy, names Annette Sally executive vice president. Sally joins Blue Sky from 22squared, where she served as executive director of client services. She was previously an executive vice president at Leo Burnett Worldwide, Arnold NYC and Grey Group. At Bue Sky, she will be responsible for overseeing the agency’s client relations and new business development. “Annette’s ability to impact our client’s brands and businesses in a more entrepreneurial agency environment is truly exciting,” said Blue Skly CEO Rob Farinella.
Wendy Hsiao |
Hope-Beckham Inc. promotes Wendy Hsiao to vice president. Hsiao has been with the agency since 2016, most recently serving as account director. Before coming to Hope-Beckham, she was marketing manager for the Atlanta Humane Society. In her new role, Hsiao will be responsible for overseeing the quality of service for HBI’s client roster, sourcing new business prospects, managing all staff, and maximizing the public relations and communications effectiveness of the organization, both internally and externally. “Wendy is smart and has worked hard to earn this promotion,” said Hope-Beckham president and co-founder Bob Hope. “She is a strong talent with a bigger than life personality who is fully capable of getting even better and better as time goes by.”

Stripe, a Dublin-based online payment processing platform, has hired Peter Barron as global head of communications. Barron stepped down as vice president of communications and public affairs for Google’s Europe, the Middle East and Africa divisions in 2018 after spending a decade at the company. He previously worked as an editor for the BBC and iTV. In January, the company had hired former LinkedIn chief marketing officer Shannon Brayton for the position, but Brayton wound up not coming on board.
