Blast Public Relations appoints Warren Pickett vice president, brand strategy. Pickett joins Blast from Access Intelligence, where he was content director of the firm’s e-tail and performance marketing group. In his new role, Pickett will contribute to the agency’s overall expansion, helping Blast advance client relations, identify growth opportunities, secure new customers, expand content offerings and provide leading research. “Warren has a wealth of experience in digital marketing and ad delivery as well as insights into the content needs of today’s technology, SaaS and service organizations,” said Blast managing partner Don Knox.
Marketing for Change hires Mike Reddy as directory of advocacy, part of the agency’s expansion of its advocacy practice. Reddy most recently served as regional voter activation director with the Biden for President/Democratic Party of Wisconsin coordinated campaign. He was previously head of outreach at Ballast Research, a division of Atlantic Media's National Journal Group. "Mike's background in behavioral economics and his expertise in building collaborative and productive policymaker relationships makes him the ideal fit for leading our advocacy practice," said Marketing for Change CEO Christene Jennings.
Steinreich Communications Group names Jane Chero senior vice president and leader of its home furnishings practice. Chero comes to Steinreich from Home Furnishings Business magazine, where she served as vice president production and director of marketing as well as content editor of the magazine’s Designer Weekly e-newsletter. She was previously vice president of production at NAPCO Media in Philadelphia. In addition to leading Steinreich’s home furnishings team, Chero will work for clients in all aspects of the industry. “With her deep experience and connections in the home furnishings industry, we know she will be an asset to our clients and a great partner in helping them grow their businesses,” said agency president and CEO Stan Steinreich.
Crowe PR brings on Aryanna Harrell as senior social media manager, a new leadership role at the agency. Prior to joining Crowe, Harrell held several digital marketing, branding, social media and influencer marketing roles in Los Angeles, working with such clients as The CW, Ralphs, La Crema and West Elm.
