The Arthur W. Page Society will host a discussion of this year’s Davos World Economic Forum, which focused on how to create an inclusive, sustainable and resilient global economy post-COVID, at a 1 p.m. virtual event on March 11. A panel moderated by former Aflac SVP, chief ESG & communications officer Catherine Hernandez-Blades will discuss how senior communicators need to activate learnings from Davos to lead their organizations forward. The Museum of Public Relations is holding a free virtual event dedicated to telling the stories of female PR pioneers and the impact they made on both the industry and society at large. On March 11 at 6 p.m., “PR Women Who Changed History” will give a panel of prominent women in the field a platform to offer their insights about those who came before them, as well as looking at the challenges they faced. The discussion will be moderated by Global Citizen head of PR Charmion Kinder, who was also a press aide for Michelle Obama. Participants will include Hunter PR founder Barbara Hunter, National Organization for Women co-founder Muriel Fox, and current Hunter CEO and partner Grace Leong.
