Finn Partners has picked up global PR duties for Shanghai-based Group, an online travel services provider.

The independent firm’s Hong Kong-headquartered CatchOn unit will spearhead the push. Finn teams in New York and London will backstop that effort.

The firm is to leverage’s extensive database to help rebuild the businesses of destinations and organizations walloped by the COVID-19 pandemic. It will also highlight’s commitment to sustainable tourism.

Debbie Flynn, head of Finn’s global travel practice, said her team will provide “round the clock service as we drive the corporate conversation about this recovery and specifically China’s intrinsic role in generating confidence back into the international travel marketplace.”

NASDAQ-listed posted a 40 percent decline in Q4 revenues to $761M and a $2M operating loss.

James Liang, executive chairman, said's domestic business, which accounted for substantially all of its revenue, rebounded in Q4 due to the “containment of the pandemic in China.”

Finn Partners is O’Dwyer’s fourth largest independent firm, registering $119.3M in fee income during 2019.
