Holly Strategies is providing government relations services to Egypt in its role as subcontractor to Brown Hyatt Farber Schreck.
It has a one-year deal worth $120K to promote the Arab Republic of Egypt's interests and strengthen its relationships with the US via outreach to American officials and non-governmental entities.
Secretary of State Anthony Blinken spoke to Egyptian foreign minister Sameh Shoukry last month and raised concerns over Egypt’s human rights abuses and potential purchase of fighter aircraft from Russia. He also praised Egypt’s cooperation in counterterrorism efforts.
Josh Holly launched Holly Strategies in December 2017 following the implosion of The Podesta Group, where he did a six-year stint.
His firm also represents Iraq’s US embassy.
