Catherine St-Laurent, who last year took the chief of staff job for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, has stepped down, according to The Telegraph.

She is transitioning to an “advisory role” and will be replaced by James Holt, who is UK head of engagement & communications for the couple.

Prior to working for the duke and duchess of Sussex, St.-Laurent did a three-year run as senior communications officer for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

In 2015, she took the director of communications post at Pivotal Ventures, investment & incubation company established by Melinda Gates, and then exited as director of brand & special initiatives in 2020.

St-Laurent also was executive director of Harry & Meghan’s Archewell Foundation.
