Finn Partners appoints Naeema Ismail and Jenny Lo as managing directors, effective immediately. Ismail is based in Singapore and Lo works out of Shanghai. Ismail was previously senior partner and general manager at Ying PR, which was acquired by Finn in 2017. In her new position, she takes on overall responsibility for Finn’s Singapore operations, delivering integrated marketing communications services to clients in Singapore and across the region. Lo has been promoted from general manager, China, and will now be responsible for growing Finn’s footprint in client and talent acquisition. “Asia is a very important region for Finn and we continue to look for opportunities to grow our presence here, both organically and through strategic acquisitions,” said Finn Partners CEO Peter Finn. “We are especially excited about the world-class talent that we’ve found here. Naeema and Jenny are two great examples of this.”

Brunswick Group hires Li Hua as a partner in its Beijing office, effective April 1. Li joins Brunswick from Squire Patton Boggs, where she was a partner in the firm’s global corporate practice in Beijing. She was previously a partner at Gide Loyrette Nouel, and began her career with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (now Ministry of Commerce) in Beijing before becoming vice-director of foreign trade at the former State Commission for Economy and Trade. At Brunswick Group, she will focus on M&A, antitrust and public affairs. “Hua’s valuable expertise in M&A and antitrust and her deep understanding of the public affairs space in China will further bolster our senior advisory capabilities both in Asia and around the world,” said Brunswick CEO Neal Wolin.

Full Court Press Communications promotes Caitlin Scott to vice president. Scott has been with the agency since 2015, most recently serving as communications director. Before coming to FCP, she worked at Trainer Communications, Mindshare PR and DCI Group. In her new post, Scott will oversee client projects and direct campaign strategies, as well as continuing to offer virtual trainings for clients on topics including media relations, social media and public speaking. FCP has also brought on Veronica Avila as a communications coordinator.

Overstock.com hires Elizabeth Solomon as chief marketing officer. Solomon comes to Overstock from Amazon, where she was head of marketing for the company’s global private brands portfolio. She has also held executive marketing posts at Samsung, Walmart and Cadbury. Solomon will oversee Overstock's marketing efforts, including customer acquisition and retention, marketing communications, and marketing technologies. “Elizabeth’s extensive track record in growing, building and repositioning brands is just what we need as consumers continue to turn online for their home furnishing needs,” said Overstock CEO Jonathan Johnson.
