Reevemark is retained by New York-based financial services company HC2 Holdings, which is led by CEO Wayne Barr Jr. Reevemark will be responsible for leading the company’s global public relations. HC2’s recent transactions includes the sale of a nearly $100M insurance business, the $169M sale of clean energy business Beyond6, the $145m acquisition of the Banker Steel family of companies by HC2 infrastructure subsidiary DBM Global and the $35 million sale of four TV stations by broadcasting subsidiary HC2 Broadcasting. BackBay Communications is named U.S. agency of record for HAWK:AI, which offers real-time transaction screening and monitoring solutions for financial institutions.
