Weber Shandwick promotes Kate Bullinger to CEO of United Minds, the agency’s organizational change consultancy specializing in change management, diversity, equity and inclusion, culture and employee experience. Bullinger, who helped to launch the consultancy in 2018, was previously its president. Before coming to Weber Shandwick in 2012, she served as chief of staff and chief communications officer at The Atlantic Philanthropies. As CEO of United Minds, Bullinger will work to expands its key service areas and solutions and grow its global team of experts. “Kate is a brilliant leader who has been ahead of the curve for years on the critical need for an employee-led approach to driving transformation and business impact,” said Weber Shandwick chief growth officer Susan Howe. United Minds has also promoted Tai Wingfield to EVP, diversity, equity and inclusion, and hired former Nielsen DE&I expert Courtney Jones as SVP, diversity, equity and inclusion.
Allison+Partners has promoted Jonathan Heit from global president to global chief operating officer, where his focus will be to help scale and operationalize the business for expansion. Having recently worked out of the agency’s Tokyo office before returning to New York, he will continue to play a pivotal part in global integration. Global presidents Matthew Della Croce and Cathy Planchard will also take on expanded roles. Della Croce will now serve as global president, worldwide client service, and Planchard will add health to her remit as global president, marketing innovation team + health.
Equinox brings on Peter Giorgi as chief marketing officer. Giorgi comes to the company from Celebrity Cruises, where he was also CMO. He previously served as global head of advertising and content at Airbnb and was a vice president at Crispin Porter Bogusky. In addition to taking on the duties of previous Equinox CMO Seth Solomons, who left the company to become chief executive officer at Eastlake Advisory Group, Giorgi will also handle marketing for Equinox Media.
