Madison County Transit is looking for a firm to develop a strategic marketing campaign for its RideFinders commuter rideshare service that operates in metropolitan St. Louis.
RideFinders was created in 1994 to help the nine-county bi-state St. Louis metro region improve air quality by encouraging the use of alternative commuting modes that reduce traffic.
It offers a mix of vanpools/carpools, taxis and Uber/Lyft reimbursements.
MCT, which is based in Granite City, IL, across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, wants a firm to conduct research to identify new RideFinders customers and create “a roadmap for the marketing and outreach efforts moving forward,” according to the RFP.
It envisions promotional campaigns running for 10 consecutive quarters, featuring “targeted messaging to meet campaign goals through appropriate channels, as well as earned and paid media placements to support the message.”
Proposals are due May 20. They must be labeled “Proposal – Strategic Marketing and Communications Services 21-1-16300” and shipped via FedEx/UPS to:
