Woodstock, a quintessential New England village close to the Calvin Coolidge homestead, is looking for a firm to develop a strategic and tactical tourism promotion campaign using a variety of platforms and media channels to attract more visitors.

A secondary objective of the campaign “is to convert visitors to the Vermont town to become residents, enriching our community and quality of life,” according to its RFP.

Woodstock wants to lure people during the summer, fall foliage and “shoulder” seasons,

The PR partner will promote events, desinations, amenities and activities in the town and surrounding area through earned media and original content development.

The Woodstock Economic Development Commission has budgeted $100K for the one-year push.

It will award the contract in late June so a campaign can be developed for a fall launch.
