GCI Health names Eleanor Petigrow global chief growth officer. Petigrow was previously managing director, new business at Syneos Health Communications. In her new position, she is tasked with driving marketing and thought leadership strategy, developing customized insights for leaders and clients, and working with the agency’s learning & development team to ensure that GCI Health is set up for continued growth. Petigrow reports to global CEO Kristin Cahill. “In this newly created role, Eleanor will be a critical steward of GCI Health’s rapid, continued growth around the world,” said Cahill. “We are thrilled to have her experience as a coach and mentor to our staff.”

Signal Group brings on Chris Ortman as executive vice president and Jess McCarron as vice president. Ortman was most recently founder and CEO of Ortman Strategies, providing strategic communications counsel for a range of corporate and non-profit clients. His previous positions include chief spokesperson and senior vice president of communications at the Motion Picture Association and national spokesperson and Obama appointee for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Public Affairs. McCarron joins Signal Group after serving as press secretary and strategic communications advisor to chairwoman Debbie Stabenow on the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry and deputy press secretary to Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack during the Obama administration. The agency has also promoted Chelsea Koski to chair of its strategic communications practice.

French/West/Vaughan hires Megan French as influencer and experiential marketing manager. French comes to FWV from Lindsey Landman Events, where she served as events manager and social media directors. She previously managed digital and social media content for Us Weekly and wrote for such national publications as Teen Vogue and People StyleWatch. In her new post, French will work to further elevate the agency’s capabilities in the influencer and experiential marketing spaces. FWV has also brought on Sarah Cunningham as a social media coordinator and Yahssain Khan as a paid media coordinator.
