CG Life names Susan Stipa executive VP of public relations. Stipa was previously president of McDay, a Philadelphia-based science communications agency that CG Life acquired in early 2020. She has continued to lead the firm as a wholly owned subsidiary of CG Life since the acquisition. With her appointment as leader of the combined PR group at CG Life, the McDAY brand will be retired and absorbed into CG Life. Before coming to McDay, she was SVP and commercial director for Foster Wheeler’s pharmaceutical division. “We decided to completely unify and create a much larger communications group with a more diverse set of skills and experience,” said CG Life managing partner Erik Clausen. “Susan is doing a remarkable job leading that integration and it feels like a very natural step in CG Life’s growth and evolution.”

Mower promotes Stephanie Crockett to president and COO. She succeeds Eric Mower as president. Mower remains chairman and chief executive officer of the agency. Crocker, who has been with the agency for 17 years, was most recently executive vice president, managing director, serving as part of senior leadership, as well as the Syracuse-region market leader, manager of the client services team and head of the agency’s energy and sustainability practice. Prior to joining Mower she had marketing roles at agencies and on the client side. “Stephanie is the best person to write the next chapter at our company,” said Eric Mower. “She has the trust of both our staff and our clients. Her leadership has been key to the resurgence of our Syracuse office and growth of our energy and sustainability specialty.”

Ntwrk, an app that sells merchandise via live-streamed videos, hires Jason Brown as its first CMO. Brown comes to Ntwrk from Foot Locker, where he was vice president of marketing. (Foot Locker is an investor in Ntwrk.) He has also held senior marketing positions at PepsiCo and NBC Sports. At Ntwrk, Brown will work to raise awareness of the app and its live-stream shopping experience. Focusing on younger consumers, Ntwrk has done live streams with such celebrities as singer Billie Eilish, hip-hop producer Alexander Wang and fashion designer Alexander Wang.
