Prosek Partners hires Phil Walters as a managing director in London. Walters comes to Prosek from Finsbury Glover Hering, where he was a managing director, advising a range of domestic and international clients on capital markets communications including M&A, shareholder activism, capital raising, crisis and issues management, corporate communications, reputation recovery and investor relations. Walters will be tasked with helping Prosek build out its London office. "Our private equity and special situations growth has been explosive, and Phil will greatly strengthen our capabilities in these areas. He also has the entrepreneurial spirit we love at Prosek,” said Prosek founder and managing partner Jennifer Prosek.

APCO Worldwide names Kelly Stepno as managing director and head of the agency’s North America Midwest team. Stepno, who has been with APCO since 2016, previously served as a senior director and was North America crisis practice lead. In her new role, she will be based in APCO’s Chicago office. Before joining APCO, Stepno was a senior associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, advising clients and developing strategies to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risk. She has also served as vice president and corporate counsel at TMG Strategies. “Since joining APCO almost five years ago, Kelly has consistently provided clients with clear-headed, responsive and strategic guidance to help them address high-stakes, reputation-threatening events,” said APCO Worldwide president, North America Kelly Williamson.

Innis Maggiore brings on Martha Belden to lead public relations and complement the agency’s range of marketing services. Belden comes to the agency from Belden Communications, where she worked as a consultant. She has also served as senior manager, corporate communications at Zillow Group and director, corporate communications at Outerwall. In her new post, Belden leads Innis Maggiore’s public relations services, which include competitive analysis, strategic planning, media relations, influencer engagement and share of voice measurement. “Martha has a solid track record for developing high-impact strategies and rolling up her sleeves to execute those programs,” said Innis Maggiore president and CEO Dick Maggiore.
