Amerant Bancorp hires Christine Esteve as executive VP and CMO. Esteve comes to Amerant from Carnival Cruise Line, where she served as VP of performance marketing. In her 28 years at Carnival, she managed initiatives in brand management, advertising, media, customer marketing and eCommerce. In her new position, Esteve will oversee Amerant's brand and media strategy, customer research, advertising, local market delivery and agency management. “Christine's diverse skill set, proven leadership and results-driven approach are exactly what we wanted for the role of CMO at Amerant," said CEO and vice chairman Jerry Plush.

ResourceOne, a Moore company, names Holly Weinzapfel vice president. Weinzapfel has been with the agency since 2002, most recently serving as director, strategy and analytics. Prior to joining ResourceOne, Weinzapfel worked for Gannett Direct Marketing in Louisville, and was an account executive for Haynes & Partners. In her new role, her responsibilities will be expanded to include account management of enterprise accounts, strategic planning and business development. “Holly excels at providing strategic insights and analytical direct response marketing for her clients through collaboration and creative solutions,” said ResourceOne president Jeff Pelcher.

RLF Communications appoints Agnes Stevens vice president, client strategy and service. In addition to operating Stevens Public Relations for the past 15 years, Stevens has managed communications and served as chief of staff for the North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission. She previously served as vice president of corporate communications at First Union (now Wells Fargo) and as an account director at Capstrat (now Ketchum). At RLF, Stevens will develop and lead comprehensive public relations campaigns for clients based throughout the United States. “Her extensive multi-channel expertise and passion for strategy will be assets for our clients and our team,” said RLF president and CEO Monty Hagler.
