Brodeur Partners hires Teena Maddox as a vice president. Maddox was most recently associate managing editor at TechRepublic, where she wrote about the about the intersection of technology, industry and the workplace. She has also held positions at such publications as People, Women’s Wear Daily, and W, and has managed PR for healthcare and higher education organizations. At Brodeur, Maddox is responsible for planning and executing earned media strategies, as well as advising clients on story development and ideas. She will also be a member of the firm’s leadership team. “Teena is a proven storyteller, content creator and mentor, and she will be a wonderful addition to our agency," said Brodeur Partners CEO Andrea Coville.

David Downing |
Thought Industries, a customer learning management platform, names David Downing chief marketing officer. Downing was most recently CMO at Cloud Elements, and has also held the CMO post at tech companies that include SnapLogic, BlackLine Systems, Zscaler and NetSuite. He was also managing partner at The Premise Group, a strategic marketing consultancy focused on companies in such sectors as AI, identity validation and blockchain. "David is one of the most experienced SaaS marketing leaders in the industry, and he has valuable perspective on how to grow this emerging market category," said Thought Industries CEO Barry Kelly.

Charnelle Anderson |
TV One and CLEO TV hire Charnelle Anderson as senior vice president of marketing and creative services. Anderson comes to the networks from dfree Global Foundation, a grassroots nonprofit wealth-building initiative, where she served as the head of marketing, branding communications and business partnerships. She has also served in executive roles at A+E Networks and Lifetime Network. In her new post, Anderson will oversee the strategic development and implementation of all marketing initiatives for TV One and CLEO TV.
