Fox Entertainment promotes Darren Schillace to president of marketing. Schillace has been with Fox since 2017, previously serving as executive vice president, marketing. Before coming to Fox, he was senior vice president, marketing strategy at ABC Television and vice president, marketing at Oprah Winfrey Network. In his newly expanded role, he’ll lead marketing strategies for all business units within Fox Entertainment, which includes Fox and its free streaming AVOD platform Tubi, as well as projects from Bento Box, Fox Alternative Entertainment and Blockchain Creative Labs. He also works on marketing projects across the larger Fox Corp. “Darren is a terrific marketer and a tireless, focused, creative partner,” said Fox Entertainment CEO Charlie Collier.

BAERING hires Jim Cyphert as public relations director. Cyphert comes to the agency from Innis Maggiore, where he also served as public relations director, overseeing all traditional PR initiatives including media relations, investor relations, employee communications, media training and crisis communication, and managed digital content strategies. In his new post, he will execute strategic PR, content, media relations and social media campaigns for BAERING clients, managing collaboration across the agency. The agency has also added Macey Bryant as project manager and Brooke Poole as senior strategic advisor. “This investment in a new team structure will support our agency in our efforts to do great work for our clients.” said BAERING chairman Robert Buhler.

The Promotional Products Association International names Dale Denham president and CEO. He will assume his new post mid-August. Denham joins PPAI from marketing and advertising firm Geiger (a PPAI member), where he served as senior vice president and chief information officer. Before that, he was senior vice president at the Advertising Specialty Institute, another leader in the promotional products industry and a key ally to PPAI in legislative advocacy and other common industry interests. “Dale’s leadership, technology and industry experience will allow PPAI to seamlessly and strategically move forward to lead a growing and dynamic membership base and marketing industry,” said Maura Mitchell, PPAI’s strategic planning consultant and founder of Brandology. “Dale has solid fiscal responsibility experience and stellar leadership capabilities.”
