Motive hires Elizabeth Seltzer to lead the agency’s new Brand Experience Studio as senior vice president of brand experience. Seltzer comes to Motive from Match Marketing Group, where she most recently served as managing director. Before that, she was executive vice president, brand experiences at Amplitude Marketing Group, and has also worked for World Wrestling Entertainment. In her new post, she is charged with helping brands that include PepsiCo and Frito Lay as they reimagine the ways they connect with their audiences. “Her background in gaming, music, sports and entertainment makes her a significant addition to the Motive team, and a key pillar of our agency’s critical next steps toward shedding classic experiential tropes,” said Motive CEO and CCO Matt Statman. The Motive Brand Experience Studio is part of the agency’s ongoing effort to create more culturally connected ideas and activations (both experiential and hybrid) for its roster of clients.

WiTricity, which specializes in wireless charging for electric vehicles, hires Hewlett Packard and Microsoft marketing veteran Amy Barzdukas as chief marketing officer. Barzdukas most recently was CMO of Omnitracs, which provides fleet management solutions to transportation and logistics companies. Prior to Omnitracs, she served as CMO and executive vice president at the video and voice solutions company Poly, Inc. At HP, she was vice president, worldwide marketing, business personal systems, and at Microsoft she was general manager, competitive marketing strategy. “Amy’s strong background in leading global marketing teams coupled with her experience working in the mobility and personal technology industries makes her the perfect fit for our new CMO role,”

Corelight, an open network detection and response platform, names Julie Parrish chief marketing officer. She replaces Alan Saldich, the company's founding CMO. Parrish comes to Corelight from computer and network security company RedSeal, where she served as both CMO and chief operating officer. She has also held the CMO spot at Check Point Software Technologies and NetApp, as well as executive marketing positions at Symantec, Nokia and 3Com. "Julie brings strong operational, strategic and go-to-market experience at both large and small companies that will aid us as we meet the growing demand for Open NDR offerings worldwide," said Corelight CEO Brian Dye.
