Bellmont Partners picks up Duluth tourism business, pending approval by its city council. Visit Duluth, the city’s nonprofit tourism bureau, had handled the job for the past 85 years and will stay on solely to provide convention and event promotion. Duluth Mayor Emily Larson said that Bellmont Partners, which will work alongside partner Lawrence & Schiller on the account, is “the right fit for right now” as the city looks to rebound from the pandemic and grow its $780 million tourism economy. "Their vision for Duluth is fresh and dynamic and deeply engaging," Larson said.

For Hospital IQ, which offers advanced technology solutions for healthcare, Matter has broadened its services to include SEO and social media services. The agency has been providing Hospital IQ with public and media relations for all of 2021. Hospital IQ’s operations management platform uses artificial intelligence, prescriptive actions, workflow automation, and streamlined communication to direct actions. As agency of record for privately held global pharmaceutical company Debiopharm, Matter was initially engaged to provide a fully integrated public relations, digital marketing and advertising program announcing a licensing deal with Merck KGaA Darmstadt, Germany, and will now work to elevate the brand in North America. Debiopharm develops and manufactures therapies and drug delivery technologies that target high unmet medical needs in oncology and infectious disease.
