Marina Maher Communications names Olga Fleming as president of its healthcare and corporate businesses. Fleming was most recently CEO of Goodfuse, a boutique communications agency within the BCW Group of companies. Before that, she was an executive vice president at Cohn & Wolfe and has also held executive positions at Biosector 2 and Fleishman-Hillard. Fleming will oversee healthcare across MMC and specialist agency RXMosaic, in addition to leading MMC's corporate practice. “She is a builder of teams, companies and brands and has a long track record of fostering great client partnerships, launching award-winning campaigns and thriving agencies,” said MMC global president Rema Vasan. MMC has also appointed Courtney Walker as managing director to lead its RXMosaic healthcare agency and spearhead healthcare new business. Walker was previously managing director of Goodfuse.

Hager Sharp recruits Kathleen Kennedy Manzo as executive vice president to lead its education, labor and economy practice. Manzo joins the agency from Widmeyer/Finn Partners, where she was a senior partner, working with the firm’s nonprofit and corporate clients in the education space. She was previously managing editor at Education Week and has also served as director, education policy and outreach at The Hatcher Group. “Kathleen is a dynamic, strategic, and personable leader with a passion for Hager Sharp’s mission of doing good work for clients who do good,” said Jennifer Wayman, Hager Sharp’s president and CEO Jennifer Wayman.
Santander Holdings USA, Inc. appoints Laura Burke as Santander US chief communications officer. Burke comes to Santander from Prudential Financial, where she served as head of corporate brand & communications and chief operating officer, Communications. She was previously an executive vice president at Edelman and held leadership roles at FTI Consulting and Hill & Knowlton. In her new role, Burke is responsible for all executive and corporate communications, crisis and issues management, employee communications, brand communications, public relations, and social media strategies for the portfolio of Santander US businesses. “Her financial services knowledge, broad communications experience and strategic storytelling ability will help us to shape our narrative and to deepen relationships with our stakeholders,” said Santander Bank, N.A. chief marketing officer Jennifer Mathissen.

MP&F Strategic Communications hires Linda Libo-on as accounts receivable & billing manager and Kris Patel as Network Director. Libo-on, who has more than two decades of accounting experience in the shipping, insurance and banking industries, will focus on using digital documentation to provide support to MP&F’s client roster. Patel, whose experience ranges across industries and includes work in third-party support and in-house IT roles, was previously a system administrator at Acure Software. “Each brings new skill sets to MP&F that will maximize the quality and efficiency of critical administration functions, allowing our account team members to focus on providing top-notch service our clients,” said MP&F partner Jennifer Brantley.
