Novitas Communications hires Jaime Gardner as a business development and communications director. For the past 12 years, Gardner has run her own communications firm, High Plains Communication. She was previously public information officer for the Bureau of Land Management and also worked at the Department of the Interior. She also spent eight years as executive director of the Colorado Resource Alliance, a membership-based regulatory monitoring service serving counties, trade associations, individuals and companies interested in natural resource policy. In her new role, Gardner will drive new business initiatives as well as manage key accounts. “With her successful record over many years of work in the public affairs and communications space and her ability to quickly form positive relationships, Jaime is perfectly positioned to drive success across Novitas’ broad portfolio of communications and media services,“ said Novitas CEO Michelle Balch Lyng.

Kottle comes to Kronos Bio from Gilead Sciences, where she served as vp of corporate communications, and was responsible for the company’s corporate brand, financial communications, media and social media strategies, and employee communications.
