Finsbury Glover Hering names former EPA senior advisor for public affairs David Bloomgren as managing director for its DC-based energy & sustainability team. Bloomgren comes to FGH from energy company Enviva, where he was vice president, media and communications. He has also served as executive director at Golin and a senior vice president at both Hill+Knowlton Strategies and Edelman. At FGH, he will serve clients across the clean energy and industrial sectors, joining a team that focuses on domestic and international climate advocacy, clean energy, cleantech and ESG work across a broad spectrum of industries.

Bospar hires Lisa Morgan as vice president, content. Morgan was previously CEO of Strategic Rainmakers, a consulting, research, writing and editorial services firm. As a journalist, she developed editorial and sponsored content for numerous publications including the Economist Intelligence Unit, InformationWeek, SD Times, Cyber Security Hub and several TechTarget sites. In her new role, Morgan will create and shape narratives to help clients achieve their strategic goals. The Bliss Group hires Erin Harrison as VP in its business & professional services practice and adds Courtland Long and Janice Miller as VP in its healthcare unit. Harrison joins the agency from Plat4orm, where she was managing director. She was previously managing director at Baretz+Brunelle. Before that, she was editor-in-chief of ALM’s Legaltech News and InsideCounsel. Long comes to Bliss from Zeno Group, where she was a senior account supervisor. She has also worked at Porter Novelli and Hill+Knowlton Strategies. Miller was previously president of RMJ Group, where she created communications strategy and managed campaigns for pharmaceutical and biotech products in various stages of approval and launch. “Our clients expect us to understand how their marketplace works and which media models will create advantage for them” said The Bliss Group CEO Bob Pearson. “Erin, Courtland and Janice represent the type of leaders we are always looking for at Bliss.”
