Creative Artists Agency reaches a definitive agreement to acquire ICM Partners. The transaction is expected to close later this year. “The strategic combination of CAA and ICM bolsters our collective resources, expertise and relationships to deliver even more opportunities for our world-class clients to build their careers and their brands across multiple disciplines and platforms in an evolving marketplace,” said CAA’s Bryan Lourd, Kevin Huvane and Richard Lovett. ICM’s books division will complement CAA’s content-driven motion pictures, television, and podcasting businesses, in addition to its speakers arm and other divisions. The deal also brings ICM’s London-based ICM Stellar Sports, which serves more than 800 clients around the globe and maintains offices in 10 countries under the CAA umbrella.

Using SimpliFi, IR professionals will be able to copy and paste their earnings content, including tabular data, directly into the News Direct Content Studio. Key stakeholders can then comment on drafts in a protected environment where changes can be made and tracked. The platform is built with cloud isolation technology and advanced encryption protocols, providing what the company says is the industry’s highest level of protection. “We are finally bringing the disclosure process into the 21st century, with proprietary technology to ease the major pain points that have plagued investor relations professional for years,” said News Direct CEO and founder Gregg Castano. North Sixth Group, with holdings that include North 6th Agency, made a strategic investment in News Direct in June.

Didit DM, the direct marketing division of Didit Digital, moves to a new facility at 1180 Route 109 in Lindenhurst, NY. The Lindenhurst location is the agency’s third move since 2015. when it moved from 30 Commercial Court in Plainview to a larger space at 15 E. Bethpage Road in the same town. The agency says that the new location’s space and layout will effectively meet the current needs of the company and its clients. “We will be in the ideal position to enhance the use of our resources, further expand our digital mailing footprint, and continue to bring forward innovative capabilities to our customers,” said Didit DM vice president of operations, Amy Pasternack. Didit DM offers data programming, direct mail design, print management, advanced mail tracking, direct mail technologies, postal optimization, and variable data imaging.
