Havas Media Group hires Courtney Cherry as managing director of global communications. Cherry comes to HMG from Publicis Groupe’s Starcom, where she served as senior vice president, director of global communications. She was previously an SVP at Reputation Partners. In her new position, Cherry is responsible for developing and implementing a growth-driven global marketing and communications strategy for the agency. Her remit will include external communications, media relations, internal communications, ownership of digital channels and industry partnerships. “In addition to her vast communications expertise, Courtney brings a passion for agency culture and an innate understanding of how media drives marketing transformation for our clients. Infinidat, a provider of enterprise-class digital storage solutions, names Eric Herzog CMO. Herzog joins Infinidat from IBM Storage Solutions, where he was CMO and VP of global storage channels. He has also served as CMO and senior VP of alliances for all-flash storage provider Violin Memory, and senior VP of product management and product marketing for EMC’s enterprise & mid-range systems division. As CMO of Infinidat, Herzog will lead the company’s global marketing and brand strategy and execution. “With his proven track record of building and scaling high-performing marketing teams, results-driven go-to-market execution, elevating brands and introducing new products, Eric will play a key role in further accelerating our global momentum,” said Infinidat CEO Phil Bullinger.

Darden Powell joined Urovant in May 2019 as executive director of marketing, and was named executive director of business unit operations, communications, and alliance management in September 2020. Before coming to Urovant, she was senior director for consumer marketing at Avanir Pharmaceuticals.
