This is not only a noble but urgent need for returning veterans. Problem? Years a go in these very pages, I wrote that help for these men and women was hardly on the nation's radar of concerns. We train these folks, and those with whom I served, to learn how to kill and maim, venerate them if they do so and then forget what they experienced when they return home. Americans for the Arts plea for help is an urgent one and the hope is the PR/Communications profession will provide a collectively financed and participative response to it.
