Under his strategic direction and leadership at Prosek, the agency says it has significantly grown its marketing business. Clarity hires Thomas Cordes as managing director for its Benelux operation. Cordes joins Clarify from Edelman, where he was an account director in its Amsterdam office. He previously worked for Omnicom Public Relations Group and Porter Novelli. Based in Amsterdam and reporting into Clarity president, EMEA Rachel Gilley, Cordes will build out the agency’s integrated comms team. “Having worked at some of the top international agencies and in roles where he has consulted with the C-suite of some of the largest technology and enterprise clients, we’re excited about the new thinking that Thomas will bring,” said Gilley.

Guyer Group, a communications consultancy for tech companies, hires Denise Culver as director of content. Culver was most recently director of research at Sonus Research, where she developed and oversaw the Technology Innovation Council and Tech Marketing Council. Before that, she was online research director at Heavy Reading, an industry analyst firm focused on the global telecoms marketplace, and wrote for tech industry publications such as Interactive Week, tele.com and Wireless Review. At Guyer, Culver advises clients on content strategies, while also developing a range of content that includes whitepapers, contributed articles, blogs and eBooks. "The addition of a proven journalist and industry influencer like Denise provides our clients with the insights and domain expertise that they need to effectively compete in today's competitive market," said Guyer Group principal and founder Charlie Guyer.

Schimel comes to Shondaland from Kovert Creative, where she oversaw programming- and content-focused clients as well as working across the lifestyle, sports and brand sectors. She has also served as director, television at PMK*BNC. In her new post, Schimel will be responsible for communications oversight and marketing strategies for all Shondaland content including broadcast and streaming, Shondaland Audio, Shondaland.com, consumer products, merchandise and live events.
