Spotify head of communications, content and advertising Jenny Tartikoff is heading to Paramount Pictures, where she will be executive vice president of global communications.
Tartikoff succeeds Chris Petrikin, who stepped down from the position in September following the replacement of studio chief Jim Gianopulos with Nickeloden head Brian Robbins. Petrikin had previously worked with Gianopulos at 20th Century Fox.
Tartikoff had only been at Spotify since July when she came over from the SVP, global communications post at Universal Pictures. Previously, she had served as SVP, corporate entertainment at Rubenstein and director of communciations at NBC News.
She begins in her role on Nov. 15, reporting to Robbins and overseeing the studio’s corporate communication strategies, including media relations, executive and internal communications, and corporate social responsibility.
“Jenny is a seasoned and skilled communications executive with broad and deep experience in Hollywood and a strong network of industry relationships,” Robbins said. “She brings a rare combination of a strategic approach with the tactical acumen to match.”
